FRANKLIN COUNTY, N.C. — The Franklin County district attorney said he is not pursuing criminal charges in a suspicious death.
District Attorney Sam Currin said an autopsy shows 43-year-old Virginia Kelly died of an accidental drug overdose.
The Raleigh woman was found at a rural Franklin County home in February with a man who said he was her boyfriend.
Kelly had bruises and a ruptured spleen that have yet to be explained or investigated.
