Durham Police Seek Suspect In Wendy's Shooting

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are looking for a man who they have charged with shooting two people in the parking lot of a Wendy's restaurant on South Miami Boulevard.

Hassan Breeden, 19, has been charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.

According to witnesses, a green Ford Taurus circled the parking lot of Wendy's and then the occupants fired several shots at the victims, Tobias Cooley Jr., 18, and Xavier Moore, 19. Both victims had minor injuries.

Cooley was arrested four days later on weapons charges.
