HIGH POINT, N.C. — A North Carolina teenager who just graduated from high school is on his way to Iraq.
Eighteen-year-old Lance Small graduated from Eastern Randolph High School on Friday night.
Small's National Guard unit, which is based in High Point, deployed for Iraq Friday morning.
Special arrangements were made for Small so he could attend his graduation ceremony.
