Greenville Church Fires
Investigators now believe two church fires in Greenville were arson.

Police say someone intentionally set a fire that destroyed The Memorial Baptist Church on Jan. 13. The damage is estimated to be $1 million.

Later that night, authorities said another church, Unity Free Will Baptist Church, was set on fire, but that building was not seriously damaged. Authorities also responded to a break-in at a third church.

There is a reward offered for information that leads to an arrest.

Actually, the last few that were burned (in Mississippi or Alabama) were done by bored college students.

I think they just want to be the first in line in the express lane to hell.

Sometimes it's pastors burning them for the insurance money but, sadly, most of the time it's bored rednecks.

What is with the intentional burning of churches in the south? I've seen this over the past few decades and it seems to go on and on. Has it always been like this? I don't recall the motives in the previous burnings. Is it always white supremists burning black churches?
