Wake County's Modular Schools To Get Surveillance Camera

Posted Updated

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — The Wake County Public School System will install surveillance cameras in three modular schools for extra security.

The school system said it is installing 32 cameras in and around Wakelon Elementary School in Wendell, Harris Creek Elementary in North Raleigh and Forest Pines Elementary School in Wake Forest.

Most schools only have one at the front entrance, the school system said, but because the modular schools will have several entrances, they will have more cameras.
