RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake County School Board of Education members say they want to bring in outside experts to look at their accounting practices.
Board members say they want an outside auditor to assess the accounting changes that have been made.
The move is in response to a multi-million dollar fraud investigation at the school system's transportation department.
They have not decided yet on an outside agency to do the job.
