Discount Warehouse Looking To Buy Former Pepsi Land

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Another mega-discount warehouse chain is ready to take over some prime real estate in the Triangle.

Costco wants to build a store at the site of the former Pepsi bottling plant at Wake Forest and Six Forks roads.

Wrecking crews are demolishing the old plant. Its property is worth more than $5 million.

If the land sale is approved, this would be Raleigh's first Costco.
