RALEIGH, N.C. — A former Robeson County detective is finding himself on the wrong side of the law.
A grand jury indicted 42-year-old Vincent Sinclair. On Wednesday, he was arrested by state and federal agents and charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Authorities said the charges stem from an incident on Feb. 24. More charges are expected to be filed against Sinclair and authorities say charges could be filed against other people.
Sinclair was terminated by the Robeson County Sheriff's Office prior to his arrest.
