N.C. DOT Approves Funding For Road Projects

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two local counties are getting some much needed funding for road projects.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation approved $1 million for improvements to Old Ford Creek on North Howard Mill Road in Moore County.

About $900,000 is going to Wilson for work on Turkey Creek Road.

The state rejected Durham's bids for close to $3.5 million for Sandy Creek Road on Garrett Road because the contractor's bids were too high.
