CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill police say the woman who was supposed to keep track of money for the historical society instead stole it.
Officers arrested Anne Hensley and charged her with embezzlement.
Police say she took $50,000 from the Chapel Hill Historical Society.
Police say Hensley was the treasurer.
