CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — Cumberland County School Board members will put off a decision on a bond referendum until they hear more about plans for a state lottery.
The associate superintendent said the district is at a standstill until it gets some definitive answers.
School board members have considered bond proposals for as much as $164 million to fund construction of schools and additions to ease crowding.
