Environmental Group: N.C. Not Ready For Global Warming Effects

RALEIGH, N.C. — An environmental group delivered a warning Tuesday saying North Carolina is not prepared for the effects of global warming.

North Carolina Warn says climate change is likely to cause stronger storms and more flooding in the future.

A bill introduced in the North Carolina General Assembly Tuesday calls on state agencies to start tracking greenhouse gas emissions and climate change so the state can become better prepared.
