DURHAM, N.C. — Another lawsuit has been filed over a medical mistake at two Duke-affiliated hospitals.
In January, Duke Health Raleigh and Durham Regional Hospital sent letters to thousands of patients about a "possible problem."
Hydraulic fluid was mistakenly used to clean surgical instruments.
Seven former patients filed suit against two maintenance companies accused of causing the mix-up.
A Harnett County man filed a similar suit last month
