Mother Of Alleged Spanking Victim Must Give Notice To School

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake County mother, who claims a teacher whipped her son, faces new restrictions.

Administrators at Fred Smith Elementary School told Ann Holloway she has to give 24 hours notice before going to the school.

Her 5-year-old son said a teacher pulled his pants down and beat him with a belt. The teacher is suspended with pay until an investigation is completed.

Holloway admits she has been banned from another elementary school for an unrelated dispute.
