Durham Teacher Not Indicted Because Of Lack Of Evidence

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — A grand jury did not find enough evidence to indict a Durham high school teacher.

In March, police charged Kara Hill with two counts of inappropriately touching and trying to kiss a female student.

Investigators say the incident happened at Northern High School in the fall.

Charges against Hill are not dropped. The case could still be brought before a different grand jury.
