RALEIGH, N.C. — A local youth minister accused of sending nude photos of young boys via e-mail is out of jail on a $1 million bond.
A spokesperson for the Wake County Jail said Jeffrey Smith posted bond, but did not say when he was released.
Smith was indicted Tuesday in Wake County on 10 counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor.
Apex police arrested Jeffrey Smith in March after receiving a tip from investigators in Illinois.
