RALEIGH, N.C. — A state lawmaker says it is time to have a uniform policy when it comes to casino nights.
Rep. Bill Owens wants to allow non-profit organizations to hold casino nights.
Current North Carolina law states that it is technically illegal to hold these types of fundraisers, even though the law is not always enforced.
