Police Investigate Deadly Rocky Mount Shooting

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Rocky Mount police are looking for suspects in a double shooting.

Investigators said the shooting happened on Gay Street, south of Highway 64 just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police said four people came to Roy Gorham's home and shot him and Vernon Barnes. Barnes died from his injuries. Gorham is in stable condition.

Authorities are looking for a 4-door black vehicle with out-of-state tags. So far, there have been no arrests.
