<b>VANCE COUNTY, N.C.</b> — VANCE COUNTY, N.C. -- A student from Southern Vance County High School is recovering after being stabbed Wednesday on a school bus.

Damaceo Bullock says another student stabbed him in the leg with a knife on the way to school.

Police say the bus driver turned the bus around and dropped Bullock off near his home without telling anyone.

School administrators say the bus driver violated policy and are investigating the incident.

The student accused in the attack was arrested.
