WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — Four men enjoying a morning on the water Sunday had a close call.
They were on the Neuse River in Wake County near Auburn-Knightdale Road when the two watercraft they were in overturned.
Three of the men were on a canoe. The fourth was in a kayak.
Rescuers pulled one of the men from the water.
The others were along the edge of the river when rescue crews got to them.
None of the men needed treatment.
