RALEIGH, N.C. — Citizen activists are criticizing new rules for the press conference room at the legislature.
More than a week after a
conservative group
accused House and Senate leaders of mis-spending millions of dollars, new rules came out.
Citizens are no longer allowed to speak at press conferences and signs are banned.
The changes only apply to event organized by House members. Citizens can still speak at events sponsored by senators.
