WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — A judge refused to lower the $1 million bond for an Apex youth minister accused of e-mailing pornographic pictures of young boys.
Apex police arrested Jeffrey Smith after receiving a tip from investigators in Illinois.
Police say Smith e-mailed pornographic photos from his home to someone in Illinois.
Smith is suspended from Peace Presbyterian Church in Cary.
