<b>CHAPEL HILL, N.C.</b> — Chapel Hill police are searching for three suspects who took off after a traffic stop.

Officers were involved in a car chase near UNC's campus.

A police spokeswoman tells us officers stopped the car and believe they saw someone with a gun.

For some reason, the three people inside the car then ran away. All night, police searched neighborhoods  along Franklin Street.
