RALEIGH, N.C. — Two people are fortunate to be alive after a serious wreck Sunday.
It happened on Hammond Road at Interstate 40 Sunday afternoon.
Police say an SUV slammed into the driver side of a BMW.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital.
Police say it's unclear who's at fault.
