CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — Speed and alcohol were factors in a fatal accident, authorities said.
Cumberland County authorities say a man was driving on Dudley Road near Cedar Creek Road when he lost control of his Dodge Stratus.
Witnesses said he was driving extremely fast and throwing beer cans out the window.
The driver ran off the road and into a tree and he died on impact.
