Separate Single-Car Crashes Kill Two, Injure Another

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two people died and another was injured in two separate single-car crashes early Friday morning.

The two fatalities came after an accident in Raleigh on Spring Forest Road at Green Road.

Police say the car hit a tree. They say speed may have been a factor. The victims' names and are not known.

In another accident in Cary around 3 a.m. a car hit a transformer on East Park Street.

It then flipped and landed upside down in a yard. One man was pinned and it took about an hour to get him out.

He was taken the hospital, but his condition is not known.
