RALEIGH, N.C. — The Person County Sheriff's Office will not file charges against a teen accused of assaulting a classmate at school.
On Friday, WRAL had the story of Nancy Gramolini whose daughter is autistic. She said her daughter was sexually assaulted three times while at class at Person High School.
Last Friday, Sheriff Dennis Oakley told WRAL he would interview the girl in April, but Grambolini said a female investigator conducted the interview Monday.
Grambolini said the sheriff's office told her they will not file charges.
WRAL called the Person County Sheriff's Office, who said it no longer has comments about this case.
