Durham Man's Murder Trial Delayed Until May

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham man accused of killing his wife has a new trial date.

Robert Petrick is charged with killing his wife Janine Sutphen and dumping her body in Falls Lake.

Prosecutors say Petrick used his wife's name to get a loan after she died.

His trial date for the fraud charges was set for March 21, but has been postponed to May.

The murder trial probably won't happen until September.
