RALEIGH, N.C. — Two Cardinal Gibbons High School students were just re-arrested in connection with a county-wide theft ring, this time by Raleigh police.
Douglas Driver and Christopher Holt were arrested in Holly Springs a few weeks ago on charges they broke into cars and stole from open garages.
At the time, Holly Springs police said they confessed to dozens of other property crimes in the Wakefield area of north Raleigh. Now, the two football players face several new counts of breaking and entering and theft in some of those Raleigh cases.
At the time, Holly Springs police said the two seniors also implicated more students. Police are not ruling out charging others.
