DURHAM, N.C. — A new bank in Durham will be the second in the nation devoted to making loans to entrepreneurial companies.
Square One Bank will be headquartered at the American Tobacco project.
The state Banking Commission still must approve the bank's charter.
It will lend money to technology and life science-based companies.
The American Tobacco project is owned by WRAL's parent company Capitol Broadcasting.
