RALEIGH, N.C. — One person was confirmed dead after a traffic accident Monday morning.
The collision, involving a Nissan Stanza and a white Chevy van, was reported shortly after 10 a.m. on Holly Springs Road between Ten Ten Road and Penny Road.
According to the Highway Patrol, the driver of the Nissan began to drift off the road. The driver swirved back, crossing the center line and hitting the van.
The driver of the Nissan was killed. That person's identity has not been released yet. The two occupants in the van were transported to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities do not plan to file charges in the incident.
