RALEIGH, N.C. — A prison guard faces charges for an inmate's escape.

Travis Allen escaped in Wilson County on Tuesday. He was caught hours later.

Investigators determined Allen's handcuffs were too loose and he was not wearing a waist chain and leg shackles.

If guilty, state Department of Correction Guard Denise Cozart could face a fine, community service or even jail time. Her court date is set for April 4.
