JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — A ruling is expected next week on whether a former Johnston County teacher can go back to the classroom.
Jeff Ferguson asked a judge to over turn the school board's decision not to renew his contract last year.
Some student volunteers got sick after he challenged them to drink a gallon of milk in an hour for a science experiment.
The school board stands by its decision to fire Ferguson.
