WILSON, N.C. — Wilson police are investigating the shooting death of a teenager early Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday at 2:42 a.m., Wilson Police were called to the 100 block of North Pettigrew Street. Officers arrived and found the body of a young man in an alley behind some abandoned buildings.
The victim, Jamal Farmer, 17, of 406 N. Railroad St.,Wilson, had an apparent single gunshot wound to the right side of his body.
