RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake County authorities are investigating the discovery of two bodies in the Rolesville/Wake Forest area.
Authorities said a Sprint employee found the bodies of a Hispanic man and a Hispanic woman near a cell phone tower on Louisburg Road around 11:15 a.m. Monday.
According to authorities, both people were shot. A red 1999 Ford Taurus with a Georgia license plate was removed from the scene. No weapon was found at the scene.
Authorities have not identified the victims or determined whether they are from North Carolina or Georgia, but they said they do not think it was a random shooting.
