RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake authorities found three children safe and sound after they were reported missing Thursday afternoon.
Authorities were looking for three boys: a 9-year-old white male, a 9-year-old Hispanic male and a 6-year-old Hispanic male.
The mother of one of the boys reported them missing around 3 p.m. in the Carpenter Fire Station Road area just outside of Cary.
Authorities were searching a wooded area where they were last seen. Authorities said the boys were walking in the woods and got lost.
