WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. — The Wayne County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of three brothers Thursday in a violent home invasion.
Deputies say the trio -- 17-year-old Preston Lane, 19-year-old Josh Lane and 17-year-old Justin Lane -- robbed and severely beat a resident of the New Hope area last Friday.
The suspects are from Stantonsburg. Preston and Justin Lane are twins. Each brother is in jail on $40,000 bond.
