CHATHAM COUNTY, N.C. — A controversial development in Chatham County got the green light Tuesday night.
County commissioners approved Briar Chapel. The 2,400-home neighborhood will be built at Manns Chapel Road and Highway 15-501.
The developer also agreed to a few changes including a library, two additional roads and affordable housing.
