— A physical education teacher at two Wilson elementary schools was arrested Thursday on charges of indecent exposure.

John Galeazzi, 38, of 2809 Hope Drive, Wilson, faces five counts, stemming from alleged incidents that happened between Sept. 5 and Sept. 11 in his neighborhood, police said,

According to Wilson County Schools spokeswoman Amber Whitley, Galeazzi works at both Lee Woodward Elementary and Barnes Elementary schools.

Whitley said the district learned of the allegations Friday and that it has launched an investigation.

"From what we understand of the allegations, they are not connected to students or Mr. Galeazzi's work in the schools," she said in a statement.

A neighbor of Galeazzi, who did not want to be identified, said Friday evening that he was surprised by the charges, saying he knew him as a good husband and father.

This was an on-going neighborhood dispute that went ugly.

There were 5 counts in a 6-day period; quite doubtful he was "relieving himself by the highway". Agreed, he doesn't belong teaching kids. "discriminatory"? really?! If he wasn't exposing himself, he wouldn't be arrested.

Just like "pants on the ground". Only the men are seen doing it!

Well they can't very well arrest someone if they don't see them doing it now can they?

How is it discriminatory? If a woman paraded around nude or relieved herself by the roadside she'd be arrested. It's ok for men to walk around with shirts off but not women, is that discriminatory? I understand the difference, obviously, but am just making a point. Common sense is key.

I do agree with ratracehwy64. It could have been something as simple as relieving himself beside the highway. :( We don't know the details.

Too creepy for me. This guy does not need to be around any kids....he can go sell shoes for a living.

This is a discriminatory law. Men are the only ones arrested for this. Just like "pants on the ground". Only the men are seen doing it!

Anything to burn, tarnish or make all teachers look bad!!
Anyone can make allegations and destroy a teacher....If he is found innocent, you have smeared this person's reputation and made his career/future miserable....Get the facts first, let the court make its decision and then report the "NEWS"
Reminds me of the song "Dirty Laundry" Shame on WRAL for this spot!!!

When I was in grade school a, "flag waver" used to show up at the fence and perform. Truthfully we found it really funny. As far as I know nothing much ever came of it.
