CREEDMOOR, N.C. — A woman was listed in fair condition at an area hospital less than 24 hours after she drove a car underneath a logging truck trailer.
The accident happened near Creedmoor, in Granville County.
The top of the car was completely torn off.
The driver, Antionette Roberts, somehow avoided serious injuries.
The logging truck was apparently backing up across a road when Roberts drove under the trailer.
A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that Roberts had been released from the hospital.
