RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are asking for help in stopping a robber before he hits again.

Two robberies happened within weeks of each other at the Mission Valley shopping center off Avent Ferry Road.

Police surrounded the Blockbuster Video store after someone passed a threatening note to a clerk last month.

The suspect got away on foot.

On Feb. 5, police believe the same man robbed the Kerr Drug store next door.

The suspect in both robberies is described as a white male in his 30s or 40s. He is approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall, of medium build, with brown hair and possibly a mustache or some beard stubble.

Call police if you have any information.
