DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham County Sheriff's Office is investigating a murder case at an apartment complex.
Authorities say Franciscus James Dixon was shot Wednesday during a robbery at the Fox Ridge Crescent Apartments near Page Road.
Police are looking for three suspects. The alleged gunman is described as being about 6 feet tall with a slender build. He also has dreadlocks or long braids and wore some kind of mask that covered most of his face.
A second suspect is described as a short, black male. The third suspect is described as a black female with a slender build. All three suspects are possibly in their 20s.
Police believe the motive is drug-related.
