ROXBORO, N.C. — Roxboro police said the woman found dead in a Day's Inn motel Sunday was Barbara Jean Cunningham, also known as Barbara Link.
Cunningham, 53, was found in the motel on Sunday afternoon. She appeared to suffer from injuries to hear head, police said. There did not appear to be any forced entry to the room, police said.
Police are looking for Jessie James Harris, a 43-year-old man, wanted for questioning in the case. Harris may be driving a white, 1984 Honda Civic, 2-door with a Virginia license tag of ADY-5653. The car may have damage to the right front fender.
