FRANKLIN COUNTY — A stand-out athlete and popular Bunn High School Student was laid to rest Saturday. His life was short, but his family and friends say Marc Philippeaux made an impression.
An overwhelming crowd filled with grief poured into the gym at Bunn High School to say goodbye to their classmate and friend.
Philppeaux, a basketball and football player at Bunn High School, was shot and killed a week ago. He was at a party celebrating his team's victory, when police say three men arrived and began shooting. Investigators say Philippeaux was simply in the wrong place and the wrong time.
