RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are looking for a man who attacked a Burger King employee during an attempted robbery last month.

Investigators say the would-be robber entered the restaurant, at 3701 Hillsborough St., shortly before 10 p.m. on Aug. 22 and struck one of two employees with a handgun.

While leaving, police say, the man shot at the employee. No one was injured.

Investigators are looking for a white man of Hispanic ethnicity, who stands about 6 feet 2 inches tall and has a thin build.

Surveillance photos show him wearing a curly, black wig, dark "skinny" jeans, black sneakers and a white shirt under a black zip-up windbreaker jacket.

Police believe he might have fled the scene on a black bicycle.
