FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A group of developers has big plans for downtown Fayetteville. The only problem is they need money.
Developers want to turn a lot along Hay Street into 50 housing units, and roughly 9,000 square feet of retail space.
Developers expect the project to cost about $14 million.
They are asking the city to donate the land and pitch in $1.8 million.
