JOHNSTON COUNTY — A mixture of snow and sleet has created some driving difficulties in Johnston County. About half an inch of the wintry mix accumulated on some roads near the Archer's Lodge area.
Close to a dozen accidents were reported after noon on Sunday. There were no serious injuries, but motorists are urged to use extreme caution in that area.
The weather system that caused the winter precipitation is moving east out of the area. No further accumulation is expected.
