RALEIGH, N.C. — Gov. Mike Easley is adding a touch of Mayberry to his inauguration.
Actor Andy Griffith will read a poem in Saturday's ceremony in Raleigh. Griffith and the governor are longtime friends.
The actor participated in Easley's first inauguration and also appeared in a political commercial for the governor last year.
Saturday's ceremony is set for 11 a.m. in front of the state library. You can watch the activities live on
