DURHAM, N.C. — Guess Road in Durham will be closed all weekend as work crews continue the project of widening Interstate 85 in the area.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will close the road at the I-85 overpass starting on Friday at 8 p.m. until Monday at 6 a.m.
Motorists traveling southbound on Guess Road should use one of the following detours: - I-85 South to Hillandale Road (Exit 174) to I-85 North to Guess Road - Northpoint Drive to Broad Street to Guess Road
Motorists traveling northbound on Guess Road should use one of the following detours: - I-85 North to Duke Street (Exit 176) to I-85 South to Guess Road - Broad Street to Northpoint Drive to Guess Road
Thru-traffic on I-85 and ramps will not be affected by the closure.
