DURHAM, N.C. — A memorial service will be held on Thursday for two teenagers who were apparently killed by their own mother.
Nicholle Ollison, 14, and her 13-year-old brother, Reginald, were shot to death at a home in Franklin County.
Franklin County authorities said their mother, Caroline, shot the children while they slept, then turned the rifle on herself.
The teens lived with their father in Durham and attended Lowes Grove Middle School.
The memorial service for classmates and friends will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Durham's King Park International Church.
